Carol Newman owned The Peanut Shoppe in downtown Dallas with her husband for decades, and since her retirement still offers her special recipe of roasted nuts and mixes for the holidays - a fact that is celebrated by her many long-time customers who still return every year to place their orders.  Below you can see a photo of Carol in her holiday apron boxing up tins of nuts for shipment to customers, and if you look in the background you see a photo of her standing in her family's original Peanut Shoppe in downtown Dallas.
